Tech Village Partners brings to bear the resources
of one of the nation's top community builders — Centex
Homes — to manage the partnership for the sole purpose
of creating a hometown unlike any place you've ever
experienced.
Our company has the experience, expertise and
resources to carry off a plan of this magnitude. Equally
important, we have roots in the community.
From our employees
on the work site to our executives, we live here and care deeply
about preserving the wonderful quality of life found here.
We listened to you and took to heart the advice and ideas you
contributed to the creation of Exploration Pointe.
Among the world-renowned
members of our team are Looney Ricks Kiss, community planners
with 335 awards of recognition for design at local, state,
regional and national levels, including awards of excellence from
the Congress for the New Urbanism, the Urban Land Institute and
the American Planning Association; environmental consultant EW
Consultants of Stuart, and WilsonMiller, a planning, design and
engineering firm which is ranked in the top third of design firms
in the United States.
"This is a unique opportunity to
plan now for the needs of people who are going to come here
to
work and live," said Clinton Glass, of Centex Construction.
"This
is not just about housing, it's about building
a unique community through proper planning. Ex-
ploration Pointe will be cohesive — planned from the
beginning with the end in mind.
Centex has deep knowledge of,
and respect for, the Palm Beach County community, which comes
from the many decades the company has been in business here.
"We
live here. We raise our children here. This is our home," said
David Abrams, division president of Centex Homes.
"We
care about doing this in a community-friendly way, building
a special place that contributes to
the economy, the environment and the people of Palm Beach
County. We have the opportunity to look at other research
parks and improve on them."

asked Palm Beach County residents and civic and business
leaders to imagine. And once they did, our world class design
team turned their visions into a reality. |

The community will preserve 2,078
acres of land and restore hundreds of acres of former agricultural
land to natural wetlands.Tech Village Partners also has
committed to using development methods endorsed by the Florida
Green Building Coalition.
Due to Exploration Pointe's mixed
use design, with housing, lab space and the town center all
built within close proximity, researchers, scientists and other
workers will drive fewer miles to work, use less gasoline, and
contribute fewer cars to already crowded roads.
With the experience,
integrity and innovation that Tech Village Partners will bring
to bear on Exploration Pointe, our team of experts in planning,
design, construction, engineering, environment and traffic
will ensure this community will be second to none and that we
take into consideration everyone's needs,
including those who will inherit the legacy we're creating.
