TALLAHASSEE - Ron Sachs Communications (RSC), one of Florida's largest and top-rated public relations firms, today announced its formal expansion into the South Florida market.
Richard Sachs, 56, will head the new operations based out of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Sachs will serve as Senior Vice President of Marketing; his primary responsibilities will consist of marketing and strategic planning for RSC in South Florida.
"South Florida always has been 'home base' in my heart. This is a very exciting opportunity to bring our unique services to the South Florida market," said Ron Sachs, RSC president and Miami native. "Now, we'll have more one-on-one time with our current South Florida clients, and this expansion will also allow us to better enhance our growth in the area."
A leader in the South Florida business community, Richard Sachs served on the Council of 100 for the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. He also supports numerous other local organizations.
Richard Sachs recently worked with one of the largest television production companies in the U.S. overseeing all aspects of production, business development and accounts for educational programming. He also served as the president of American Equity Funding since 2001, where he served as a successful consultant on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital and business development.
Before 2001, Richard Sachs worked with Transworld Systems, Inc. as a management consultant and Paine Webber/Merrill Lynch/Kidder Peabody as vice president of investments.
