TALLAHASSEE - Tallahassee-based Ron Sachs Communications, one of Florida's top public relations firms, as ranked by PR Week Magazine and O'Dwyers, today announced a statewide expansion, with new offices in Orlando and Jacksonville. "We're extremely excited about opening these additional offices," said Ron Sachs, president and founder of Ron Sachs Communications. "As our range of capabilities and base of clients grow, we've worked hard to enhance our capacity. These new offices will be a significant part of that expansion."
Specializing in issue communications and organizational and cause marketing, Ron Sachs Communications is consistently ranked among the top 100 firms in the nation. In addition to statewide and local clients throughout Florida, the firm creates national and regional public education initiatives, including "Drive for Life," a national safe driving initiative, and the Emmy Award-winning "National Hurricane Survival Initiative."
Founded by Ron Sachs, a successful career journalist who served as communications director to the late Governor Lawton Chiles, the firm has grown steadily throughout its 11-year history, providing integrated public relations, advertising, marketing, branding, video production, crisis management, Web, graphic design and media buying services.
Heading up the Orlando office is Bob O'Malley, the former director of Public Affairs and Strategic Planning for Metroplan Orlando, the regional transportation planning organization for Central Florida. Bob can be reached at bomalley@ronsachs.com.
The new Orlando office will expand the firm's capacity to serve clients throughout the state, particularly in the rapidly growing I-4 corridor area. "Being chosen to lead RSC's Orlando branch is a real honor," O'Malley said. "There are amazing things going on at the firm, and I'm proud to be part of it, as it charts a course toward continuing its growth as Florida's leading issues and public initiatives public relations firm."
Natalie LaRocca, of RSC's main office in Tallahassee, will staff the firm's new Jacksonville branch, bringing additional on-the-ground public relations and media buying expertise to the firm's North Florida clients.
"As the North Florida area grows as a center of business, so, too, does its demand for strategic communications support," Sachs said. "Our Jacksonville office will help us better serve our existing clients as well as emerging demands in the region."
The new Orlando and Jacksonville branches will join the firm's Tallahassee headquarters and South Florida office, operated by Richard Sachs, senior vice president of marketing, giving the firm even more statewide reach.
"This expansion gives us a chance to put down deep roots in these communities and serve the needs of clients with the full support of our team," said Ron Sachs. "It's exciting to be positioned for this growth as Florida prepares to become the nation's third-largest state."
