Ubben Recognized As One Of The Top 25 Business Women

April 16, 2007

TALLAHASSEE - Ron Sachs Communications Chief Operating Officer was selected by the Tallahassee Democrat as one of the top businesswomen in the region. In an online exclusive, followed by a feature story of the Tallahassee Democrat on March 6, 2007, titled "Michelle Ubben's balancing act," Ubben was recognized for her talents as a multi-tasking professional and out-of-the box thinker who has helped Ron Sachs Communications earn its ranking as top PR firm in the state.

The Tallahassee Democrat recognized women who are "influential and successful" in their roles as leaders. The women were honored in celebration of Women's History Month and are not only important in and to their business, but are amazingly diverse in occupation and life experience.

The mother of six children, Ubben is both a "super executive" and a "super mom," able to seamlessly juggle the significant demands of work and home while maintaining a laser-sharp focus and an unflappable demeanor. Her PR skills are matched by strong business acumen.

In 2006, Ubben was named a national finalist for "Agency Executive of the Year" by PRNews and earned an honorable mention for successfully reengineering the firms operations, improving productivity and efficiency while increasing revenues 27 percent in 2005.

"What I like most about working here is the teamwork," Michelle says, "its rare in companies that very different professionals work together. Everyone here joins in. One person's project is everyone's project."
