TALLAHASSEE - Ron Sachs Communications has received an early holiday gift, wrapping up the year on a high note. The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded the firm its second Emmy in the past four years, this time for a series of ads produced for "The Faces of Climate Change in Florida" campaign. In 2005 the firm was awarded an Emmy for its hurricane TV special "Get Ready, Florida: The Hurricane Survival Test." The 2008 Regional Emmy Award Ceremony was held Saturday, December 6, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The firm was named a winner in the Community/Public Service (PSA) category for "The Faces of Climate Change in Florida," a series of ads showcasing Florida entrepreneurs who are reducing greenhouse gas emissions through innovative green business solutions, produced for the Environmental Defense Fund and the Florida Wildlife Federation. "The Faces of Climate Change in Florida" series was directed by Special Projects Director Lisa Garcia, produced by Senior Producer Charlie Belvin, and co-produced by Evolution Media.
